HOW TO WEAR MILITARY GREEN FOR MEN (2017 EDITION)

January 11, 2017

The key to a truly versatile wardrobe is stocking key staples in neutral hues – traditionally earthy colours, sand tones, camel, black, white and grey – no wonder the monochrome movement has been so indomitable for 2015 and 2016. So it might seem almost sacrilegious for Jiawa Liu and I to be endorsing a colour for the coming autumn, let alone green. But military green is not just any green. Its ever so specific desaturated earthy personality makes it the perfect new neutral to change up your wardrobe for the new season.

How to wear it? Trust me on this, the military green will camouflage right into your everyday wardrobe (pun intended). However, for an effortlessly put together look, keep the whole outfit to no more than two or three key colours. Reference these dark and muted green badass military roots with oversized utility pockets, then inject a modern touch with a sexy wrap skirt (for her) or a pair of powerful loafer with silver buckles (for him).

The RIGHT haircut for military outfit – Tara – Crown Street

August 28, 2014
DSC_0801

Tara’s outfit is very Sydney trending, and we are all loving it! Girls in Australia, they want to be pretty, but not ttttooooo pretty,  maybe they just dont want to draw too much attention on the streets, they want to be cool actually, low profile cool…. military is always a big thing, military green is always great to finish a cool and easy-to-do outfit, with black or vintage kind of mustard.
And you know Rihanna is a huge fan of military styles too, and that’s what reminds me to pay attention to Tara’s haircut!

So, have not updated my blog for weeks, since I only had time to check howtwolive’s everyday!
This is my second time visiting Brunswick street, nothing surprisingly good, but still lots to explore and many items to put a lot on the shopping list! A stroll around the area resulted in the discovery of vibrant street art on every sunny corner, the perfect backdrop for an impromptu shoot!
We visited Veggie Bar for a refreshing pit stop, photos below, from Veggie Bar, 380 Brunswick street, Fitzroy. www.vegiebar.com.au
Opening hours:
Weekdays open 11 am
Weekends open for breakfast from 9 am.
They have cool interior designs, DIY fruit and veggie drinks, and friendly staff. My favourite part about this cafe is that they have their cool bathroom/ water system! Go check them out!
A DIY watermelon, ginger and apple juice is around 7 dollars.

I will feature lots of leather accessories in the near future as the collaboration with Melbourne based leather company ” Leather Cargo”. “Leather Cargo is located on the corner of Swanston street and Lonsdale street, cross the road to Big W. You can custom order any leather products from there.
Alternatively you can contact fashiondacci to do that for you if that is easier.
