She created these geometric pleated structures based and inspired from the architecture. This set is drawn from photographs of the pleating moulds she created herself, and then had prints made up of.

DION LEE RESORT 2017

I was so honoured to be at Dion Lee 2017 Resort Runway as Redken Australia Ambassador and this year Dion is bringing his fashion show home back at Sydney Fashion Week. I arrived at Bloomberg Building on a beautiful weathered evening and was sent up to level 28 by a security guard where the show was presented. The collection stuck true to its aesthetics with a high emphasis with the tailoring and lining and that’s always a good thing because that is what makes the Dion Lee brand remarkable and why fashion enthusiasts anticipating as we were gathered on the rooftop of the Sydney Scrapper in Bligh Street. With sleek thigh-high mini dresses being one the key highlights on this runway, the models strutted soft colours of white, lime yellows as well as black silhouettes that also featured modernistic and artistic foldings that were quite flattering to the eye. Also worth mentioning was silk and crystal beading materials which really spiced up the whole collection but at the same time, there was a clean and sharp execution to which created a great balance of all the design elements.
