Style At Grand Prix Melbourne

March 24, 2016

Last week Kurt from our Team Bloggers Boyfriend was invited to the Grand Prix by Sofitel on Collins from Accor Hotels to experience the exciting Melbourne festival season, and here with all the audience cheering and engines thundering, we caught Shaun Birley dressed in style as always.

Shaun’s one of our street style faves and always gets it right! His dapper brown and grey plaid suit is offset with a russet pocket square and loafers, the open neck conveying the perfect sense of comfort and class. Brown shades complement the tonal look. Perfect for the Grand Prix!

There are plenty of options for rocking a stylish, but comfy, outfit for your next major event. A good tailored trousers will always serve you well, as will a crisp oxford shirt. For footwear, we recommend a good loafer or brogue. High quality leather or suede will never go out of style, and a monk strap will keep you firmly on trend.

Accor Hotels are our hotel bookers of choice whenever Bloggers Boyfriend is out of state attending an event, with over 3500 hotels, there’s definitely a suitable hotel no matter which city you’re visiting.

There are about 30 Accor Hotels to choose from when you staying in Melbourne and Victoria regional. There are also free trams running from Melbourne CBD to Albert Park ( straight to Grand Prix Gate 1 and gate 2 thorugh the day). Most of the Accor Hotels in Melbourne CBD are right in front of tram stops such as Sofitel on Collins street and Pullman on the Park ( facing MCG and MCG train station). This means that Accor hotels are the most convenient choice for you, next time you visit the Grand Prix!

And here are way too many other festivals, races and seasonal markets hold in Melbourne all year round, make sure you check your Melbourne Travel Guide Here before planning your trip.
